With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Chen founded SoundClear with the vision of creating a truly independent, patient-first hearing clinic. She holds a PhD in Audiology from the University of Melbourne and specialises in complex hearing loss cases and cochlear implant rehabilitation. Dr. Chen is a frequent speaker at audiology conferences and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of audiologists.

James Mitchell

Senior Audiologist

James brings 15 years of clinical expertise with a special interest in hearing aid technology and digital signal processing. He has completed advanced training with all major hearing aid manufacturers and is known for his ability to find creative solutions for challenging hearing profiles. James is passionate about helping patients get the most out of modern hearing technology.

Paediatric Specialist

Dr. Park is our paediatric hearing specialist, with extensive experience in children's hearing assessment and management. She has worked in both hospital and private practice settings and is skilled in behavioural and objective testing methods for children of all ages. Her warm, patient approach puts young patients and their families at ease during what can be a stressful experience.

Michael O'Brien

Hearing Aid Specialist

MAudSA, CPAud, B.Sc (Audiology)

Michael is our hearing aid fitting and rehabilitation specialist with over a decade of experience. He excels at matching patients with the right technology and fine-tuning devices for optimal performance in real-world environments. Michael is particularly skilled at helping new hearing aid users adapt and provides thorough, patient counselling throughout the rehabilitation process.
